I just got a bluetooth dongle for my PC, I've installed the software and managed to get it to pair with my phone last night and used it with FMA.

Today it doesn't want to work.

When I try to pair with my t68 all that happens is that I enter a PIN on my PC and tell it to initiate pairing, the dialog appears on my phone asking if I want to accept then it asks for the PIN which I enter. After which connecting comes up on the phone for a second, then nothing on either the phone or PC happens.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the bluetooth software, but that didn't help. I tried initiating pairing from the phone, but that doesn't work as nothing happened on the PC when I tried that.

What's going wrong? It's drivin nuts.

Btw I'm running XP sp 2

you only have to pair the devices once. and it seem's to me that you've done that. after pairing nothing special happens, now just try to send some files to your phone or something to see if it's working.

he did try that, but the pc wouldn't even respond. it's always more problems free when initiating from the pc.

hmm ... well, in my case it's the other way around.

anyway, what do you have in your lists of paired devices?

oh, and t68 firmware do you have?
