On my old T68ie if you knocked the slider it says

"Standby Time 186h
Talk Time : 9h 31m"

and tends to be pretty accurate, so a good guess of how long i have to wait until the next charge, however i can't find this on the T630, has it been removed?

Pressing +/- just gives me the model number and phone number (as well as date and profile)

Actually it worked perfect on t28 and r320, on later models worked the meter not so exactly.

I think they had too many complaints about the meter not being accurate and thus finding it easier to remve it completly...

This phone has many more features than t68i so it is harder to calculate how long a charge will hold

@emanuelj: You are right, it's probably much harder to do an accurate calculation on an advanced phone with lots of different energyconsuming features and functions.

But, as a matter of fact, floAt's Mobile Agent (fMA) calculates and displays the remaining standbytime. I don't know how accurate the calculated standbytime is, but it's probably good enough. It will at least give you a rought hint.
