Belkin, a vendor of various gadgets, introduced Digital Camera Link for iPod that is a bridge connecting iPod and DCF/PTP-compatible digital camera via USB for quickly uploading images from the former to the latter.
The device is controlled from players with firmware 2.1+.


Digital Camera Link features include:

Power and data indication
USB-A — 5-Pin Mini-B interface
Requires 2 x AA batteries
No dimensions information is available, but judging by the photo it's sized like an iPod player

I wonder if they open up a new iPod everytime they're gonna take pics... Mine is like a month old and I can't see my iPod because of the scratches! Anyway, if I had a digital camera I would be absolutely buying this item. I can't imagine where this is going. Imagine using your 5th Genereation iPod as a hard drive for your P1100 over bluetooth...
