I feel sympathy for you too! All the big cities in Europe has this similar kind of problem. I almost got robbed when I was in Paris last year.

Am i lucky? I've wandered round loads of cities on my own over the last 5 years or so (only 18 now) and had no trouble at all.
Well nearly i did in France I was wearing my Man Utd shirt and well me and a mate (school trip when i was 13) got chased back to our bus.
Hope you had insurance on the MP3 player

Im only 18 years to are you going on school now because i travel of bordme i dont go to school i work as a Preloader and i travel that is what i do nexst stop NYC anyone know ho to go there for a good price i can go from London no problem i just take ryanair from Oslo  im also thinking of going to Glasgow with Ryanair |

@Bjerkbanen: I don't think you should say it was a Turk, unless you're completely sure. Just say a southern-european looking guy or something, otherwise it will start a racial confliction........

Sorry to hear that my friend. Its a shame when this kind of thing happens when you are venturing out into the world.. especially into a different country/city etc etc. Just glad to hear that you were not harmed, it could have got worse if say you had put up more of a fight - luckily for you mr friend you were not harmed, apart from a little shaken I suppose. Did you report it to the police? I know there was possibly nothing they could have done, but you never know.
I hope that in future you have pleasand trips to other countries. Ive been to Glasgow once, just thru it working really  hope you like it. Got any other plans for any other British City?
I too love travelling, but havnt been able to do toooo much of it just yet, being just a little older than 18  This year (so far) ive been to India and Dubai and am planning to goto Ibiza in August/September time. I also plan to goto some European Cities within that time too, IF I can afford it that is!!!
