Sorry to be the bearer of bad news here, but animal sounds or any other sound effects for that matter are not possible on the T610. T610 only uses midi polyphonic ringtones which do not support sampled sounds. It'd need to use .mmf, .wav or .mp3 files to play those kind of sound efects

ok...... just an idea here. the next time u visit the zoo, go to the chimps cage, tease the chimp with a banana or sumthin (at this point mr chimp will be making helluva noise, lol) record the sound into your phone, it'll be saved as .amr file. set the sound as ringtone and waalaa! u got yourself a chimps ringtone! (well...literally)
yes?

Wat the new firmware? Does it allow you to use .amr sounds as ringtones? It would b very good if it did.

Unfortunately not. Like I said earlier, you CAN'T use sampled sounds of any kind as ringtones on the T610! Sorry, but that's the way it is. Not happy about it myself, which is why I'm looking forward to the K700

I think we can convert .amr --> .wav --> .mid, so we have ringtone. But T610 doesn't support ringtone with sound, does it? |
