Opening a phone will most certainly void any warranties. I recommend you not to open a phone unless you are sure that the warranties has already expired. Just in case you need official support...

you need a T6 screwdriver, take the battery cover off and unscrew

Dropping it works too.

Hi all, l second Bico, dont try opening the handset yourself if its under warranty, you might damage it beyond repair, best to wait until warranty expires.

celltech > if you open it and break it while its still in its warrenty period.. you're more likely to get it fixed in a service centre than you are if you break it after its warrenty has expired...

MixiN, yes you can get it repaired at a SE service centre, but there will definately be a cost involved....

@MixiN: You will probably always be able to get your phone repaired. At least if it's still recognizable as a phone .

However, if the warranty has expired or if there is any evidence of any kind of damage that can't be considered normal wear you will most certainly have to pay for it yourself.
