I'm sure most of you guys who are on T-Mobile know that all the new plans include access to unlimited WAP. But, I just talked to customer support, and that guy tells me that there is a s/w glitch and it's gonna be fixed before the end of this month. So, You have to pay for T-zones to access WAP.

Well at 4.99 a month it's still a great deal.

I heard this also, but not from a Cust. Service Rep.

A software glitch? They were ADVERTISING free GPRS access for a short time...

T-Mobile is starting to piss me off, and I've been with them for almost 4 years. (I was with VoiceStream before T-Mobile took over; you know what I mean.) They are changing rate plans ALL the time and they can't seem to decide on a price for GPRS. They are way too unstable for my tastes.

But then, who beats them? AT&T and Cingular are just as bad, AND more expensive. And I have invested too much money phone and accessories to stray from GSM right now.

Bastards.

I dont think it is a glitch. The free internet should last as long as your contract lasts. It was an advertised special. It is still a feature listed in most plans.

This plan includes the following services
Built-in Paging, Call Waiting and Call Hold, Caller ID, Conference Calling, Detailed Billing, Enhanced VoiceMail, Web Browser

Typical American company--shake your hand, then they wont let go, plus they screw you in the arse as a bonus. [addsig]

What does a web browser have to do with the ability to access the web? That is, the browser and the service are two completely unrelated things that, when used together, allow the user to view internet resources.

But the fact that you have a browser doesn't mean you automatically have the ability to access the internet.
