Hi
I made some telephonecalls.
And the upgrade will come in Europa and other states
around 14 june 2002.
It is not true if people are saying on this forum that
they will let upgrade there phone this week.
Because every shop in the whole world, download
the software at de communicationpoint on the internet
from the SonyEricsson softwareservice Sweden.
And the software is not ready yet.
So, if you see messages from people wich are
saying that they allready have the upgrade, they are a foul,
because there isn't new software at all, I mean yet.
So, people just wait for another 14 days and
then you can get the swap at your local SonyEricsson Service Point.

and what say that you have right and all others are wrong?
 can decide which countries that will get the upgrade first by restricting access to the upgrade so only certain countries will be able to download it.

Actually I dont thinks that so many wants to spread lies and rumours, I think that the main reason everybody says different dates etc. is depending on
They say different things to the same people from one day to another!!

aren't (and will never be?) any good at sharing information, not even to their service points... but they could at least make sure their helpdesk in each country gave the same answer... have talked quite a lot with helpdesk in Sweden... very nice people working there, but it's not hard to tell that doesn't give them so much information they need.

Just kiddin m8.. its good to see some good humour in theis board especially after all we've been thru!!
Chill guys..... itll happen soon enough and mark my words, when we all do EVENTUALLY get the upgrade, sparks will fly and will be praised about it even though theyve made us wait. We'll see what happens. Here in UK, not one of the service providers have launched the MMS s/w yet anyway, so its no big deal, the only thing thats good is the picture book and its enhanced capabilities.

Hi Baz like everyone else i just want the upgrade then my cam will work i just dont like being lied to and now the trouble is i have a hard time believing anything (thats because of se bullshit not people in this forum) its like last year when the gameboy advance came was released on the day nintendo said it would there a big company no problems i just cant be arsed with it now i just think it funny that a communication company doesnt know its arse from its elbow.

I know that the software is ready, because I have it on my phone, and an sonyericsson employee has had it in his phone for almost a year now.
The upgrade is avaliable in a service center in denmark, and I think two or three people on esato has upgraded their phones in denmark.
Then if I remeber correctly, the upgrade is avalible in a service center in the nederlands also.
So don't believe the info you get from SE to 100%, cause they tend to have different answers to the same questions, if you just ask them at different times.
But the upgrade will launch very soon.. I can almost feel it.. (there's a disturbance in the force)  |

Swisszerland and Germany
It seems that EMMA II has unlocked the central europe area,the rest of europe next week? |
