In the star wars saga boba fett and i do like hannibal lecter. The last one was brilliant acted by anthony hopkins, the king of actors in my eyes.

@KiMcHeEbOi: not from LXG then?

in film it would be DEFENS (Michael Douglas' character) from Falling Down.

in books i'll have to think about it for a while...possibly Winston Smith from 1984.

If we're talkin books, can we include comic books?
In that case, it would have to be Calvin from Calvin & Hobbes, he's brilliant, it's the best comic strip ever!
Film, I like Kevin Spacey in American Beauty (can't remember his character name), he's got a brilliantly dry sense of humour.

I made a big list for a thread on another board awhile back. They're from TV, books, films, everything.

R2D2 and C3PO - Star Wars
Mithrandir - LOTR
Winston Smith - 1984
Morpheus - The Matrix
Captain Murphey - Sealab 2021

That's all I can remember right now.
