dont know if its a mistake but just been on expansys.com and the sonyericsson p800 is listed as expected in 30 days?! i know thats about right for q3 but ive been led to believe itd be nearer sept/oct someone check it out and let me know if im just seeing things!

You're right, it's expected in 30 days. But expansys dates are not really accurate. Nokia 7650 has been listed for a while and whenever I check, it is listed as 21 days left. |

No according to  P800 will come during Q3.
And see how well it works with the SW upgrade release, so if the P800 is out for Christmas I think we cn be happy - and then Im not speaking of Christmas this year more like 2003-2004 - and thats if we are lucky!!

Well ... 30 days ahead ... hard to belive in. Norwegian resellers doesnt even have a suggestion about pricing @ the moment.

Seems like Sony Ericsson has been playing a little bit too much with our patience, and lost the confidence of many customers. And that is the worst thing for a company! We had hope about sw upgrades and new models, now everything they plan to release just appear like inaccessible, future, vague dreams of a crazy Esato user!! ;-) Let's hope their future moves will prove we are wrong and restore some confidence.....

p800 will probably be late anyway seeing as Symbian have just undertaken new os work. se will want latest symbian os in at launch.

Hihi sorry for that you are right!!
But I doubt that P800 will be out on the first day of Q3 - just look at HBH-30, anyone seen it out yet? And its told to be released during Q2.

Well... really the only official date has given on their web sites is week 21(wich is not over yet). but rumours and badasses looking for fun has made people wait for the MMS uppgrade sinse August.
we will get the uppgrade when its done! |

I work in Kista and I have lately been seen a lot of folks running around with their P800, they work at so they probalby test it. But it usually a good sign when you see those kind of people having the latest phones at the lunch restaurants, ie it's not so far away before launch.
But my guess is still that P800 comming after summer and probably forsee a long sommer maybe until end november ;-D |

so do i!im due a contract upgrade so im gonna hang on and see. anyone any idea on price yet?the nokia 7650 has just come out in the uk at£300 with a connection,so hopefully itll be around there or maybe a bit less(nokia always outprice themselves!7210 £400 with a new contract!!!!) |
