Well, after sifting through 10 or so pages of old forum I come to you. I just bought an SE T226 phone and I downloaded Theme Creator Pro 3G and made my theme through there.

Now, the second part of the process begins. How to get it onto my cell phone. I've read through the help documents in TCP and nothing seems to direct me.

So, I need to ask.

How do I get the theme onto my phone? Well, I sort of know 'how' but for me it's not working. I've made a link on my server where the file is and I try downloading it through my phone and I get a 'operation failed' message.

so, that wont work.

IF you could explain how to get it onto my phone that would be awesome. Or even save writing time and link me to a thread already dealing with this.

instead of uploading it to your server and downloading it, you could try uploading it to http://www.euploader.com and downloading it from their WAP site. Or if you have a method of sending files from your PC to your phone e.g a USB cable, you could use that.

Hope this helps

Maybe floAt's Mobile Agent (fMA) might help you out. Take a look at http://fma.sourceforge.net

Good luck!

Wow, vinnieza

It worked. It downloaded onto my phone! Now, when I went to themes and tried to apply it I got an error and it asked me if I wanted to delete it. =(

the file name was newtheme.thm

Should I probubly save it as a different extention from TCP?

There is probly an error in the theme, edit it so the colours dont clash, things like that. You should see where an error is by a warning triangle next to the colour boxes when you edit it,hope this helps

Edit, rename your theme too,but keep it as .thm

ack, there are no problems with colors ( I believe ). I went and downloaded some ofthe default themes TCP came with, Zakay2.thm and after the download and tried to run it and I got the same 'could not load would you like to delete?'

Maybe it's the program? Does everyone else use another one?
