Basically i have a T610 and a Sony TR1 laptop. My T610 is with T-Mobile here in the UK. I can easliy connect my phone with my laptop using bluetooth, there is no problem there. I can also get it to connect to the internet aswell, but only at 9.6kbps. Which is bloody slow. Now i know that bluetooth is a 1mega bit (100Kilo bytes) connection when required. Everyone i have spoken to says i should be reaching internet speeds of upto 33kbps on the t-mobile network. I rang them up and they said that i need to go to menu -> connectivity -> data comm -> data accounts -> wap csd -> edit -> data rate and set that to 33k
so i did all that, only prob is when i connected to the internet after that XP showed me that lovely popup "internet connected at 9.6kbps"
i need to know how to make this quicker for what i do 9.6kbps is far too slow
Can anybody help me it would be much appreciated
Many thanks in advance
