hey,
is it true that from June 1st onwards, Vodafone UK will be offering free WAP in the evenings?
are there any online articles on this topic available?

I haven't heard anything about it yet althought they did it free for a month not long ago. I know if you upgrade to GPRS5 or above they were doing that free for 1 month.

yeh it was free in January..
well i only heard this from my friend's friend.. ( my cousin's friend's neighbor's dog's twin brother's master.. j/k) so i'm not sure myself.. just decided to post the topic up to see if anybody has heard of it or not..
apparently it came along with in the carphone warehouse bill.. hmm not shure tho..
anybody know ??  ..

I have just enabled GPRS with vodafone and have been given the first month free, but looking on the website there is nothing about free wap service. |

hi i work for vodafone in the uk, and i haven't heard anything about free wap in june, but there was free wap in january, and if you sign a new contract with gprs5 they will give gprs5 free for the first month, after that you can change to a lower gprs price plan

hey.. thanx fer the info guyz..
just one more thing.. will there be any promotions for MMS (Vodafone).. like they did for WAP during January??
approximately when will these promotions (if any) be available..
oh and another question for Mark.Davey becuz u work for Vodafone.. i'm not really clear why i can't use GPRS.. i went to the Vodafone branch on High Street Kensington, and the lady there wasn't sure.. as for Carphone Warehouse they said that there are specific Vodafone networks.. and i'm not really clear wat's goin on..
could u fill me in on how i could activate GPRS for my fone?
