I got a T68 and in the connect menu there is Synchronization in there there is remote, local, options what is it for and how do i set it up?

It is for backing up your contacts and calendar. Either to your PC (local) or to a internetserver (remote). Sites that provide these services have their own settings for your phone

Thats a pretty good answer! You can also use a lot of software to administrate your contacts and calendar one of my favorites is mobile master that allow to backup my sms too! $±

This might be a little late, but I use 3molen for my calendar with my S710. You can do synchronization using the phone's sync capability. As the other person posted, the site gives you the settings.
