hi guys hope you can help.... I just got a FREE upgrade from O2 for my samsung x600 - got a samsung D500 - movies, bluetooth, lots of great 'smartphone' features -its no wonder PDAs are dying...

but...
does anyone know a *cheap* way to get my hundreds of pics and sms transferred to my new phone?? of course, only infrared, or web, and *no* help from O2...

I have already tried with a freinds Tmobile sim (they have a pic share service), but it wont allow it :( - it does not say 'bad sim' but 'blocked - enter password' and nothing works, not even his password!!!

I dont want to try any more, otherwise both our phones may be blocked...

I have found that it seems O2 lock the phone so only an O2 sim can be used..

I have quite a lot of *lawyer/legal* stuff I want to transfer..
