I have just been in the carphonewarehouse in Ormskirk, near Liverpool. I is in the Library writin this now cos i thought you would want to know.
I asked "Is the Software upgrade available yet"
He said "Yeh"
I momentarilly went WOOHOO!!!
Until he said you have to send it to  head office which i have been saying to all of you for weeks.
And it would take 2-3 weeks.
As i have an 8310 aswell i wasnt that arsed.
So i said ok.
Then the Shop phone rang. It was some one from head office at
So i immediately thought "bollox". And sure enough, he was ringing to say that there was a problem, and that the CPW were not allowed to send off any of the phones. (that was after i had swapped and deleted everting from the memory, and the phone was all bagged up and ready to go)
I very cheekily asked if i could have a word with the Guy as i had alredy told the shop fella that i was pissed off with the wait, so he said yes.
He said he does not know when it will be released in the U.K, because of a major fault (excuses!!!!!)
But it will be released in the rest of europe this week.
I told him that when i bought the phone, i bought it because i thought i could trust to deliver a high stanard of quality and customer service. But obviously that is absolte bollox.
I gave him esatos web address so he could see how shite we think they are. And he actually thanked me!!
I suggest we nominate some 1 in this forum (one of the "higher people or popular people" in the u.k, i would be more than happy) who has an email address, we send him (or her but very much doubt it) the emails and they then send it on to
But i dont think i acn be arsed with anymore. They had their chance.
