Hi All.
Am hoping someone might be able to help me out. I've just got an unlocked 610, and have put my existing o2 contract SIM in it. Most things are up and running, but I just can't get the MMS working. I'd like to be able to send photos to email/other phones if I can get it sorted. I'm guesing this must be down to my WAP settings? I've been to the O2 site, and there's an option there to request them to text you the correct settings for your phone. There's only one option that seems likely to be the correct one ("GPRS Active" - from description this is WAP and MMS setting combined.) But when I try to send a picture I still get "Communication error..." Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks in advance for help.
Cheers

Do you have the gprs signal showing above your signal strength bars, its a light blue triangle. This will show if gprs is attached and if you've got gprs coverage. Call o2 customer services and ask them to activate gprs and mms on your account too.

Thanks for the response! Hmmm - I don't have a blue triangle over the signal bars... The SIM card is from an O2 phone that was MMS and GPRS enabled, so I was kinda hoping it would just stay like that even in a new phone, if that makes sense, but maybe you're right about checking if it is enabled. The blue triangle you mention; does that appear constantly, assuming there is enough signal strength?
Thanks again

Yes it does if you are in an area that you're receiving the gprs signal. Get o2 to activate gprs and mms on your sim and to send you new settings.

Thanks a lot guys! Sorted now. On the main O2 page the combined GPRS+MMS settings wasn't working for some reason. Contacted O2 and they were able to send me new MMS-only settings. All now seems okay using those. Thanks for your help.
