Who actually HAS the upgrade in their phone? |

All this talk of "I went to the service center", "they have it, but..", "It's on EMMA II, but it can't be downloaded, or it's slow".... That's great, but it doesn't answer the question, is it do-able yet??
Can someone actually post a reply when they actually HAVE the upgrade IN their phone since this week 21 supposed release (meaning not beta users)? Just curious.

Jeff > The upgrade has been "unofficially" released here in DK,.BUT only at one specific service point. Reason is,..this service point works with SE analyzing department,..so people were/are able to get the MMS-upgrade from this place,...and its free.
This software is exactly the same as the one I got on my T68i,..its even got the same name : R2B-025.
(the official release-version could be called something else, I guess)
But its not available yet as "official" software at the other service points here in Denmark.
Some say week 24,..some say later this week,..we'll just have to wait and see.

Thanks for the info. Frankly, I don't care, I have a T68i R2b and a T68m -- so, although I would like the upgrade on the m, I can wait --As a admin on this board, you see how many "rumours" are on here -- it would be nice to have this post as a sticky, to see which people and when actually have it on their phone, as a non beta release, rather than the dozens of discussions on the maybe's. I think anyway, we are seeing here quite a number of reasons for delay, which, essentially = delay.

could you give me the name and Adress of that specific SP in Denmark, since I live in Hamburg, Germany and it probably wouldn't be too far for me to drive to that SP.

That specific SP doesn't seem to do it anymore. Talked to them today and they said to me they did not have it.
Maybe they have it but they will not give it to you... Or at least they would not give it to me, and they could not say when it was going to be released.
I dont beleive it - but that was what they told me.  |

Well, I kind of am desperate, it just sucks that it's delayed sooooo many times. I don't want to go into detail anymore, since there are so many threads concerning this.
It just would have been nice to get the upgrade, even if I had to drive for 2-3 hours to get it.

The reason that they say that they dont have it, could be that the official release is close now.
And they did say,..that you could get the upgrade untill week 19.
After that it should be released officialle.
I've got two different weeks/dates now : One says week 22,..the other says within this week, hehe.
Will just have to wait and see now

Here in Portugal they say (today news) : I made a Contact with SonyEricsson - the date of the upgrade will be establish next week....weŽll see! |

Here in Portugal no one knows anything!!!!! I called a SP yesterday and they told me that it will be only possible to have on my T68 some of T68i menus, like MMS and no memory upgrade! Then I called SE and they told me that that was wrong and that they are expecting the new software at anytime, and then I called another SP and they told me that they already searched EMMAII and that there wasnŽt anything new to download!
ANOVO its the worse SP in Portugal, the suck and are ignorants!
Doctortel rules because they have always the new upgrades before all the others and they are really nice!
