It will be much too much expensive for the crap is making, and it will have the definitive version of his software ready in year 2348 !!!
Wait for a Siemens or a Nokia but never for that sh.. !!!

You seem a little, how should I put it, non objective about this.
T68m is a pretty damn good phone according to most people you talk to, so if you are having problems with it, you are in the minority. I'm not saying you are wrong, just in the minority.
Think the P800 is going to be pretty expensive, it's a PDA/phone, and they have never been cheap.

The T68 should be a pretty damn good phone !!! But it is definitely not the case with the actual software !!
I paid a fortune for that phone, 7 month ago, with the promise that it will be better once… but it’s still not the case… By the way, I’m lucky, because I didn’t have any problem with my phone… it’s just damn slow and it has the worst T9 in the World… that’s it !
So I’m really angry against , and for sure I’ll never go again for any of their crap !! I hate to be ripped off like that !!
And for the P800, who want to buy a phone like that when you already know that the first version will get out with a crap software, then, 4 month later, a P800i will come out… with a nice software… and you’ll get stuck with your non-working P800…??? Not me, for sure…!!!

rolud > i dont see what your problem is with
when you bought it, you bought the best phone on the market. not only are you one of the few people who had a colour phone, but the phone you have is one of the most feature packed phones ever.
So your unhappy with the T9 speed? so am i, doesnt mean that im gonna ditch phones for the rest of my life.
And maybe they shouldnt have released the T68i.... In my opinion it was a bad move... but it doesnt mean they are gonna do it with every phone they release.

I agree. Plus it's a SE phone just like the i which is perfect 'somehow'. 7650 costs around 650$ so the P800 shouldn't cost much more or it won't stand against the new nokia phone.

@MixiN
Since the first day with my T68m I’m really angry against because the T9 developed by Tegic should know exactly when to put an apostrophe and should be damn fast, like it was in my three years old Siemens S35i !!
By they are not even able to re-use it properly !!
So don’t say the T68m is the best phone on the market !!! It’s a good phone with quite a lot of features not found by any other like the color, tri-band and bluetooth… however, in my own opinion, Siemens is doing far better phone…
And my next phone will definitely not be a P800, nor any other phone, because being a beta tester for is not my job… and it’s really too expensive for me…

Well, I'm gonna try out the P-800,...before it hits the streets.
One thing although,..that I cant seem to find out,..does it have IR ?
Cant "see" or find it anywhere ?
They write about cable, mms and bluetooth, but no IR ??
Its probably been answered before,..just cant seem to recall it, hehe.
Was actually wondering if they are doing two different versions : P-800 and P-802,...they use both names in the 3-d show,..but only the name P-800 on the SE-site.
Also I believe someone in here had a link, to a site that actually tested the P-800,...can anyone remember that link ?

@Jan
The p802 has chinese language support, but less available memory. Otherwise the same as the p800.
I can't remember any details about IR, but I always assumed it would have it. Then again, Nokia are dropping it from some of their phones I believe.
Personally, I think it is pretty stupid to judge future phones on the basis of the t9 system of a previous phone. Especially as I don't think the p800 has t9 at all! It has a stylus for text input!!

Andrew > Thanks,..I actually just found the "Whitepaper",..it features, bluetooth, IR, USB and seriel cables,..sooo its got it all.
The P-802 is the chinese version,..also only have 9 mb memory,..the P-800 has 12 mb,...this is due to the extensive chinese language pack.
Quite impressive this one,..really has a lot of things.
The whitepapers can be found here (theres 71 pages pdf,..so it takes a while to load )
