As i had predicted prior to T68i launch. SIM free prices would bid downwards at a faster rate than the T68m had done! There is only a 6% ~ price gap between the two in terms of T68m price. The gap was 16% last month.

Hong kong markets are good for estimation of future SIM free prices in europe. Sonyericsson T68i are going for a max of Just £300 in HK, from a release price of £400! European prices will track hong kong SIM free prices with a delay of approx 2-3 months. This occurs as arbritage is possible and to prevent this, international markets would have to adjust their prices to remain competitive! Additionally, other colour phone substitutues are emerging with more to come, resulting in ever more competition coupled with slowing telecomms growth and poor future projections in this sector and increasing productivity with falling costs of production.

Dont pay too much money for your phones!
