Just bought a Sharp GX30, what a phone!!!!
I don't think that I could ever go back to Sony Ericsson again!
No laggy software, a decent camera, loads of available memory, wow!
Companies such as Nokia, SE etc are in trouble now, how can they compete with a phone like this??? |

well no actually sharp has:
bluetooth, sd, 240*320 screen 262k, etc etc etc
it's a very good phone but you can't really buy it if you are not with vodafone right? i mean that's the only problem with that phone.... |

I dont buy a fone cos of memory and quality of camera. Theese things arent the main and most important features in my eyes.

The GX30 is a good feature packed phone I agree But spoils it for me is the Voda Branding!..I will eagerly await for the K700!!..Roll on June.

only the uk has got sharp phones, sharp is still very unknow to most people, they don't have a full support like SE or nokia have. and do you really think that sharp is better then the se phones? come on what future does sharp have with just a few models? and what about there OS nothing beats an SE phone, and when you see the new menu thats on the Z1010 and K700 you'll see that the great SE menu system has even improved more, its the best availeble and it will remain so for the next years.
so if you want to buy sharp, good for you, but don't think you're better

My sharp dv camcorder, video, and tv are good. Oh forgot my sharp microwave too! Phones wise, only seen a gx1 my mate had it was total sh!t.

The only Sharp phone we have in Malaysia is the GX-27, modified version of the GX-20, customized for maxis, our local telco. N apart from pic quality, I must say that it is no where near SE.

In what part of my post did I say I was better??? Strange man?
The K700 is a couple of months away, the Sharp is here now, has been out for a month already! The K700's screen is only half as good, it doesn't have memory expansion, has a lesser camera, can only play a couple of mp3'd due to it having 32 mb of mem but only about 14mb free to the user, the list goes on. It is a nice phone, but the GX30 is still better.
I agree that the S700 could rival the GX30, similar screen 1.3 mp camera, but this phone is 6 months away. The GX30 will be 7 / 8 months old by then.
Sharp are ahead of the game, why? Because they have a massive pedigree in the far east, wolrdwide for that matter now! Asia is a place that have 2mp camera phones already made by Sharp amongst others, they would laugh at our technology if they came to europe.
Sharp is the only company bringing us remotely in line with them and they deserve to be respected for that.
In reply to an earlier question, the GX32 is out now, a non branded alternative to the GX30, so you can put any sim into it!
