What do u want to do? There are ports on the pc where u can connect it.

What kind of cable is it? Is it a data or service? And don't tell me that it's a serial cable, you already mentioned that.

Sounds like you have a data cable. You can't update your FW with a data cable, and while you can change a data to a service, with a service cable, you have to buy "credit" to unlock, flash, etc. your phone. You should get a terminator dongle.

but i will not update my firmware my self and secondly the termanater dongle is not available over here .. but i do want do send pictures .. n ring tones to my phone through my pc n also want to update my contacts with outlook express but the problem is the olderversion and with the connectivity of the cable

yeah i am succedded in connecting my phone with the my picture software.. but i am unable to send pictures , i sent melody with extension emy but not imy.. and how to let the phone accept pictures
