I wouldnt rely on CW's expected price guides for those phones. I think the most expensive would be 7650 or 8910 but 7250 will be the cheapest. But this all depends on market conditions at the time of launch, but i am assuming they will be lauched together and supplied at equal quantities.
Bare in mind the CW will overestimate prices to avoid customer dissapointment and maintain its credibility for guding customers for future prices and therefore covering itself.
The 8910 I predict to be manufactured in limited quantities together with 7650, 7250 in large quantities.

That's odd? Thought a Tri-band phone would be more expensive? (7210).

Oh yea, that is way over the line for that thing.
However, I don’t expect the price to be that high for long.
Mobile phones have some odd reason of being way overpriced the first day it’s out, but the prices drop dramatically after a month.

7650 to arrive in July at 400-450 EUR
By: Jørgen Sundgot, 03.06.02 13:37
infoSync editor Oliver Thylmann happened to pass by Nokia Shop in Germany, and upon quizzing (read: grilling) an employee extensively about the Nokia 7650 managed to come up with the official word on the release of the much-anticipated 7650. Alledgedly, the Nokia 7650 will arrive in German stores in July at a price point of 400-450 EUR with contract, or 500-600 EUR without contract. The price is likely to be quite similar in other European countries, however differences in import and sales taxes can lead to some variations over the theme. |

ok ok, i will economically try and explain why prices drop after day 1 of release. This is what i learned at uni some time a go and amazingly, i got a 1rst in this module at LSE, Uk!
There are a few catagories of consumer by reservation price, i.e. their maximum willing price to pay for a product.
Band A for eg seek the latest product and offer to pay the highest prices. This band has few consumers per product.
To profit maximise, firms try and estimate the highest price consumers will pay for a product and predict the quantity demanded at that price.
Once price is set, firms will know whether or not demand has died off at that price due to the potential consumers having bought the product at that price.
When band A is satisfied, firms will lower the price in a bid to capture sales for a more price sensitive group, probably more customer demand the lower the price.
The same process is repeated until differentiated price sensitive groups have consumed the product.
The cost of production of the product is unlikely to change significantly to warrant any significant price change.
The above assumes a product in a market where supply is unlimited and markets are not perfectly competitive and have control over the price of a product. eg monopoly or oligopoly.
If the above is done accurately, the product will not suffer from excess supply conditions and an unaccounted fall in price. Profit maximisation will take place for each band of customer.
Examples of above are NOT v60 as the phone was in limited quantities during the year and price was way above longer term price. Price fell due to increased supply and a loss of its european exclusivity.
T28, V66, Sl45, s45, ME45 and T66 are probably good examples of third degree price descrimination outlined above.
