How many characters can one send with SMS (150?) I assume EMS is the extended SMS where you can send more than 150 chars, correct?

How do you concatenate two SMSs together?

EMS is enhanced messaging service and this allows simple pictures, animations, sounds etc to be included in the message however each of those items requires many characters within the message to represent the item, and each message is still limited to 160 characters

Thanks for the quick replies, guys.

Where do I set the chain message option? I look under Message, but it's not there.

The P900 doesn't seem to have that option. The manual (page 85) just described that multiple messages will be sent when you exceed 160 characters. You do see an indication on screen in the top left of where you type the text when the message requires more than one SMS to be sent

edit: on T and Z series its in messaging, options, long messages (on or off)

masseur,

great point. i enter 162 chars and the upper right shows 162/2 which tells me it's now concentenating two SMS together.

this is a cool feature, actually.
