people really hate Nokia here? |

I've just read few threads here which have mostly contained info about SE's and Nokia's new (and a little older) phone models. Is it just me or do you really hate Nokia here? I mean I don't judge the brand I judge the phones and yes, I think 6230 and some other models are pretty good - still everyone seem to be dissing them.
Ps. This has nothing to do with me being a Fin. I just started to wonder all this and yes, i AM tired.

Nokias don't bother me, I just prefer SE phones but I use an 8310 alot for reading and posting here through wap, because it's quicker than using my P900.

Yes, many people hate Nokia here, and most people call them Bricks. I don't hate Nokia's though, but I'm not a humongous fan, either.

well i guess that about 40% or even less of the people hate nokia and those are often the loudest, ofcourse this is mainly a se forum and that's because this is a lot more "visible" than on other forums but in all my life i haven't seen a forum with at least one flame war nokia-se..
but anyway i find esato a very nice and pleasent forum.....
i have to say that a was once similar but not anymore because the more i saw this nonsense about nokia the more i realised that you must not seek errors but good things.....
anyway yes i am also kinda tired of this bull**it with se and nokia but i think esato is improving on that matter.... |

I think they both (SE and Nokia - as i mentioned earlier) make good phones. So the 40% are unhappy 'cause Nokia became bigger phone company than Ericsson and Sony rescued Sweden's biggest mobilephone manufactor?
That's just quessing. Anyway, what's the point hating Nokia, SE, Samsung, Motorola and so on ? they all make good phones well at least some of them are good. Seems like people only see the badness of Nokia and the so called greatness of SE? |

I am just accustomed to use SE fones.Even I don't think SE phones are better than Nokias ones.

like many others here, i hate nokia and i love SE.
i am currently using nokia 7210 and 8310. sold my P900 couple months back. anyone did the same as me

I think that one of the reason most people (here at least) hate nokia is because there is quite a common attitude amongst people of 'supporting the underdog'. In this case, Nokia is the big company, with SE the underdog. It's visible everywhere though, look at consoles with Nintendo and Sony, look at Rugby when Ireland beat England, even in graphics cards Ati beating nVidia. I have to admit that i would have my t610 over any equivalent nokia though.
Btw, i saw that nokia flip phone in town today. All i can say is OMFG!! There is being a bit different, then there is just a freakshow! It looks so odd, but it's probably quite good to use. |

Difficult to explain but it is the reason in the behaving of nokiapeople and nokiavehicles: somehow unclear and annoying. S-E people and vehicle are reliable. Feelings make trust S-E.
