I bought my T68 in Switzerland and I am currently in Singapore for a while. My phone supports four languages for both menus and T9 dictionary (English, Italian, French and German). If I go to an Ericsson centre here in Singapore and ask for a software upgrade to R1C, would they have the European version with the four langauges above? I assume the local version would support only English, Malay and Indonesian ...

yah, you can do that. New models from T39 to T68 has the ability to "cross flashing" meaning you can flash whatever language you want. Just drop by any service pts / center in your local area.
