Toshiba introduces new Battery that is based on temperature difference.
The Toshiba Giga Topaz power supply generates electricity by using temperatures fluctuation on upper and lower sides of battery.
As far as I can tell from the automatic translation of the japanese press-release Toshiba managed to make the battery heat-proof to about 300 celsius, which seems to be a world's first. The Giga Topaz battery is coming on the market this July - This is a Save the Planet Gadget.
