Send Photos From Phone to PC |

I know this has been up a lot of times but I have been searching for 3 hrs now.
I want to transfer photos from my T610 to a computer using infrared.
I have a Mac Powerbook OS9 and a PC with windows 98SE.
Problem is:
On mac: In the Infrared control "T610 series" shows up. I try to send a photo from the phone but I only get the message "connection faild"/"No device found".
On PC: Exactly the same thing as on Mac in the Infrared control in the task bar.
Then when I go and click on what on the italian computer is called "ricevente a infrarossi" (that should be something like infrared manager) in "my computer" I get the message "Not possible to comunicate" and I can see that the control says "No iR device connected"
Do I have to install the T610 sofware on the PC to be able to send photos with infrared? I don't want to do this because I already have software for R380 and P900 on it and I am afraid they will not work together. I dont want to touch the synch software since I got it to work after days of work.

I think u have a prob with the mac.No prob with the phone as i send pics from a t610 to any lap without any software add-on.

Have you sent photos to Macs with OS9 as well?

It is just sending photos from phone to computer with Infrared that don't work. In fact I'm synching the P900 and R380 with infrared with no problem. And to send photos from T610 to P900 is no problem as well

To all people sending photos from phone to computer:
When you are sending photos, do you just turn on the iR (phone + computer) and send the photo with iR ?
Or are there other things to think about?

I resolved the problem on Mac OS9 downloading "C Beam".
When "C Beam" is open it works to send the photos from T610 to the Mac.

I took away C Direct and C Direct Engine from the extentions folder since the computer frooze once. I'm not sure if it happend because of these extentions but since tranferring photos works without them I took them away.
I still can't send to my PC windows 98 SE though. Seartching internet for another 5 hours or so I found that maybe I don't have the infrared driver for slow infrared connections. I tried to install the C-pen software on the PC as well but I could still not reansfer my photos. The software for PC is very different from the one for Mac so I suppose they don't work in the same way. I went to C-pen troubleshooting and installed some new drivers for infraRed as well. But with no success. I hope I didn't made a mess of it all and that I will still be able to do the synch by iR connection.
