can you give a link to where its not working and what is it you want? the USB drivers, or the full sync package, and in what language?

I'm in a right royal mess.

Can't install, repair or un-install my existing Pc Suite using "control pane"........ it just wont work.

can't re-install over the existing using a disc I have with PC Suite V2.1.1..... the process just stops responding during the final stages.

Was gonna try and re-install from the web-site but the link

http://www.sonyericsson.com/s[....]ps&lm=ps1_1&pid=10101&fid=3336

wont work and from memory its 2 hours + on my 56K modem and I have a 2 hr. disconnect.

Having a bad day and it just gets worse.

get a donwload manager that allows you to resume downloads, like Gozilla.

Cheers for that .... GoZilla did a job and enabled me to download V2.3.1 but still have the same problem.

Basically the install wizard for the program never completes and I am stuck. It is both unusable and apparently undeletable using the control panel menu.

Any more advice ?

Try doing the install or uninstall in Windows "Safe Mode".

Thanks again for your efforts and suggestions........

I am now more convinced than ever that I have a problem with the PC rather than the SE software.

Not got a clue what to do next other than wait till I can replace this piece of cr@p !
