Hm, a phone with a red line through it? That means that the phone is not able to make calls (as you've obviously figured out). I think you're in a bad service area, as your phone is unable to call. That is what it means when I got this, when I visited Michigan.

it means that your calls are being fowarded. goto calls - foward calls - voice calls - cancell. this is a known bug that has happened before. you will sometimes see it appear when playing certain games or accessing wap as well.

No, read his post! Forwarded calls have an arrow facing the right, over a phone. You are wrong again, Slam.

The manual says that means "no incoming calls available" i suggest removing all restrictions as someone suggested earlier in the post.

I believe (masseur or some other higher form of intelligence, please back me up here), that our SE's will always get incoming calls (unless we restrict them). Even when we used fixed dialing, this only prevents the outgoing calls, not the incoming ones. And if you automatically forward your calls, then you're gonna see a phone with an arrow, not a "Crossed Out Circle", as the guy was describing.
A "Crossed Out Circle" refers to a network problem (no signal, bad SIM, bad phone, etc.), and therefore, the user is unable to do anything to adjust the phone to remove this symbol.
Am I correct? Masseur?

I just told you exactly what the symbol he described means. Don't know where you got your one from?

rdnymllnsktr, unfortunately I have to disagree to a certain extent. I have had this symbol on my T630 just a couple of weekends ago while it had a german O2 sim card in it and I was in UK.
It was there for about 15 minutes and during that time I read the manual and found what bosshogg had to say to be correct. I tried calling the phone and it diverted to my voicemail so certainly no incoming calls could be recieved.
I experimented with putting my vodafone sim in and it worked fine but as soon as I put the german O2 sim back in the symbol reappeared.
I wasn't able to investigate further because the symbol then dissapeared of its own accord and incoming calls were again working.
The only thing I can add is that the German sim card is a prepaid one though I am not sure if thats significant.
I'll try and explorer more if it happens again or perhaps cytech knows exactly what this means?

i did read the post rdnymllnsktr. and what do you mean by wrong again? the phone with a red line through it means you cannot receive incoming calls. so it looks like you're the one that's wrong. why don't you read what i posted? it's a bug. the same thing happend to my t616 a few times and how do you think it was corrected... hmmmmmm... i wonder... could it have been that i just deactivated call fowarding even though it was never activated?
