Hey all,
i've got some serious issues with my t65, it crashes constantly, resets all the time, i've got software r3b007 or something like that. I've been told by my phone company (6 days old, under conract for 2 years) that they won't help me. So, my phone currently does all sorts of strange things, it used to crash in the "my pictures" thing whenever i went into it, it froze for 4 hours the other night when i was copying my numbers from the sim to the phone and resets halfway through games and comes back with a different time on the display, etc. Can anyone offer me any kinda advice or something? Plz help!
Thanks,
Aaron.
P.S. Any issues with the software versions as well, plz post up!

Mate if ur phone is only 2 days old and having all these problems then take it back and TELL them to replace it! It will be under warranty so SE will repair it for u at a SC but if uv only had it 2 days u should get it replaced from where u bought it! Ed

welcome to ESATO!

if you're having problems with your phone company, then you can try contacting the local Sony-Ericsson office or Service Point directly. Visit the website for this information.

(It's too bad that your SP doesn't seem to care about helping you out )

try having your phone's software upgraded to r4a007 like i did. it runs better and no hang-ups whatsoever like the ones you mentioned. the guys who did the upgrade did something to my phone during the upgrade so now i have to wait for 3 weeks for them to replace it with a new one.

I have also some serious problems with my T65 battery I have only used it for two days and I have had to charge it every night. My program version seems to be very old R2B but I dont think it matters

I´ve changed 3 times my T65 but now it works just fine. Update the software to R4 and remember to use the Master reset ... Settings ... Master reset ... so you will avoid finding strange characters in the phone. My has crashed because after update it was full of these characters which slow down the phone quite a bit too! Now I am very satisfied of my T65 and I think is one of the best on the market after T68 ...

Had some troubles with my T65 resetting without any apparent
reason, but upgrading to R4 seemed to fix it - worked like a charm for
over a month. Something weird happened this weekend, though:

Suddenly it freezes when I push the 'Option' button or try to access
the WAP menu, and the battery is draining FAST. Think I'm gonna hafta
try another reset. But as I don't have any RS-232 cable, I always 'reset settings', not 'reset all'. Maybe I should buy a cable, back up my contacts and do a 'Reset all'? 'Cause a 'reset settings' didn't help at all...

Gotta go visit the service center tomorrow I guess...

Well, wouldn't you know... The strangest thing happened!

I let the phone discharge completely, charged it again --- and
everything was a-ok. Even got 20h longer standby than ever reported
before, and it seems to be genuine. Wap/GPRS & everything working
again as well. Maybe it's a she-phone and it was that time of the month?
