There's a new player in the competition for the smallest storage standard. For anyone that's looked at a postage stamp and said "that's too big", Sandisk are the first to have brought the miniSD flash RAM standard to market. Who will be the first to plug a miniSD into an SD/MMC adaptor into a CF adaptor into a PCMCIA adaptor.

I agree,there seem to be more & more formats coming out!..I dont know if thats a good or bad thing?

Bad, all of my devices use different cards. My palm uses mmc or sd my camera uses compact flash and my p800 uses msd.

Sony/SE have MS Duo Pro, Nokia RS (reduced size) MMC, Motorola mini-SD. Any more?

i think it ok, but u may hav u buy loads of adapters
im ok cos all my electronic stuff is from sony, phone, pc, digi camera, laptop. they all accept memory stick,
but i must say that it will b well cofusing buy 1 in the shops (2 much choose) |

Yeah unless one format is significantly better than the rest the market will be swamped with all sorts of proprietory formats... why cant everyone use compact flash or something?
