PayPal is an online buying system. Visit their website. You can only use PayPal if the person accepts it, and has their own PayPal account. Think of it as (as simple as possible) e-mailing a payment to someone. It is pretty safe, but many people dislike it, and don't trust it.

I use Paypal to buy things and never had any problems with them. Although it was created for ebay users, a lot more companies are accepting Paypal payments now, thats why i have one.

Basic PayPal is absolutely free. You can buy and sell through it. You never have to spend any money.

Well, it's just as safe as E-bay. It was created for E-bay, mind you. You connect your account to PayPal.

Paypal is 100% secure but just make sure you go to https://www.paypal.com (make sure there is an s after http which means its a secure connection) all you do is make an accountwith your credit/debit card/s and then the person you are sending money to has to have an account then you email it him. If buying from E-Bay when you complete check-out just go to pay by paypal and then send money.

paypal is not very safe. if there is a mishap and money is taken out that is not suppose then it's too bad. i've used them in the past (years ago) but i've since switched banks and have not set up another pay pal account.

I've been using paypal for a number of years. It wasn't created for ebay but they have bought them out a year ago to replace the payment system that ebay already had.

I have had hundreds of transactions paid to or from myself using paypal and never had one problem with them

the only thing to watch out for is people who pay you with unconfirmed accounts or addresses. At that time its best to wait for the money to transfer to your bank account before sending the goods.

now that paypal have opened a european section more non-US accounts are getting confirmed quickly so this will be less and less of a problem
