bobafet, as far as calender is concerned I don't see that it is a must for a mobile fone. Calender is always available at alternative locations. And regarding the irda feature, I don't know anyone around here utilizing that functionality and using it. Even I am not aware of how it is advantageous for me.

What I feel is missing is that the SE has restricted the number of literals that you can compose through the 'composer' facility is only 16.

Boba, can you find me a place to find some good melodies within the range of 16 literals which i can keep as ring tones ▒( :¬)
(It took me some time to draw him...

"around here" where?
I think IR is extremely useful and easy to use 4 phone 2 phone and phone 2 comp connection u can do so much with it!! Ofcourse Bt is way better but IR too is cool. Atleast i use it .
if you just want a phone only to communicate then nokia 1100 is not bad.
i havent got the chance to test a t230, so tell me how is it display?do the too have only mophun games?
(what i cant understand that aftermaking such a great phone like 310 ; packed with features how can se go back and make a phone with less features at almost the same price range ..somewhat less.)

The joystick is simple enough for me to manouver. As mentioned in most of the reviews the responce time is little slow. I can compromise on that for all the other features which it offers.

The battery life too is fairly good. I could keep my handset working for about 2 days without charging inclusive of some talk-time. Although you would not want to drain the whole battery just for testing it. lol.

The main reason why I took up the SE was functionality/price ratio It cost me Rs.6450. Although it lacks some(read few) of the functionality that other phones provide, it did provide most of what I was looking for in a mobile.

The display has 4096 color palette (a little crude compared to new models in the market but better than just 256). Along with MMS, downloadable wallpapers, themes apart from what is shipped with the box is satisfactory (I felt thats good enough).

Yes you are right, T230 supports only mophun games. no java thats one more drawback for you.

Bobafet,

the keypad is fine. therez no problem.

but lol I could not find any single person who owns a T230 from India in my post as yet.
