hello....how does the cable work....??
I live in holland and maybe it will be available today or next week but how does it work ? > Where i have to connect it ?
Ok i understand on the pc bit which input port ?
and does the other end go into the phone from underneath ?

one end (you'll see which) is connected to the system connector on the bottom of the phone, the other is connected to a COM port (or USB if it's a USB cable) on your computer... you can't plug it into the wrong connector  |

Cauze i downloaded some
- Themes
- Images
- ScreenSavers
And can i send them to my phone without any software and trouble ? |

Using a data cable is really great...you can download ringtones, themes, backgrouds etc.... to the phone..connect the cable in COM1 like the mouse and just get the Software around and enjoy SONYERICSSON....

Use this part of SE (both web and wap) to download programs :

MyPicturesProgram and MobilPhoneMonitor. You need the Mobile- phoneMonitor if you use cable. This program sets up the connection between phone and pc
IF you download XTND-connect package (synchronization-software) then the mobilephonemonitor is already in the package.
SendFile program and phoneBackUp and Imelody-converter can be found here :

eeuuhhmmm i did not test it yet..........i am searching the software....

It is NOT possible to upgrade the phone with the datacable.The thing that is not good in the cable is that you cannot send anything from the phone to the PC.If you download themes or receive backgrounds or else on the phone you cant store them on your PC.A part from that it works fine.

But u are able to backup ur phone to ur pc....but as pinolo says u cant edit it....
