I have a Dutch (company-)contract (Vodafone) without GPRS. Last week I was in France, Strassbourg, and I noticed from my display that GPRS was enabled ! I did not try it though. I think it is ackward though that without having a specific contract granting the use of GPRS at home, it would/could work abroad... What if I would have used it.. who would have to pay for it.... ?

you are limited to a certain number of uppercase characters for the title of your post.

there really aren't any free lunch but you could have called, and asked the roaming partner of your SP about it.
