I have an IrDA USB bridge adapter(BAFO BF-120).Even though the adapter is istalled perfectly in Windows 2000,I'am unable to connect my phone to my PC.The phone is not detected at all.Whenever i try to send something from my phone, it is briefly seen on PC and after sometime a messege "connection failed","No devices found" appears on my phone.Again the phone is no visible. I use Mobile Phone Monitor and Christersson Send File but the status is always "disconnected".
Anyone to solve this big trouble?

adjust the various properties for the IR adapter under device manager... speed, duplex, etc.

No. It varies from model to model (of the phone and the IR adapter). BF-120 may look identical on the outside, but there are 4-5 different versions with different chips inside. You have to experiment.
