when i compared the pictures taken from my t630 to my classmates t610, i noticed that the color black on my pictures on my t630 seems to shine and look glossy... but when i send the picture on t610 it looks alright... is it because of the TFT display of the t630?

i own a t630 and i recently used a cover to protect my phone. since then i also notice that my screen seemed a bit glossy. what i am trying to say is: do you have a plastic that covers over your screen? if so, that might just be your culprit.

no, im not using any casing or cover... what im saying is the color black (PURE BLACK) on the some part of the screen when im uploading or taking pictures on my celfone looks shiny. try taking pictures in dark spots. in t610 the dark spots looks black but in t630 it looks glossy (without setting the nightmode on). i want to know if its normal or what

hmm.... mine looks black.. however, try to compare it side by side if you have a friend that uses T630. (or maybe u can pretend to buy to a cellphone and ask to test. )

ok i'll try it, but i want to check what level of contrast you are using... because when i adjusted it by adding 2 levels, the dark spots do not look glossy but black. thanks for your advice!

I think this is to do with the TFT screen. Because there's not much "glare" on the screen as there is with the T610. I noticed the screens looking kind of glossy and almost looking painted on. The Sharp GX10 looks the same.
