i heard that those 3G phones,eg nokia 7600, only operate on 3 sim cards,if u put other sims like o2,it wont wrk cos d system only dsignd for 3 network,is that true? |

You can unlock the 7600 with a nokia dct4 unlocking program.

The 2g network menu has been disabled so you can't change your perfered network. It will work with a 2g sim but I heard its a pain cos it keeps searching for a 3g connection.

smoke dog is right certain 7600 (the ones sold on 3G) will not work or jus work occasionally on other networks u can certainly unlock but the phone is hardware locked onto 3G some shops can remove this and flash a normal 7600 flash onto the phone otherwise not worth trying pain in the a** |
