You have to open the bluetooth or infrared ports (or serial/usb cable, but ugh!), activate the services with your phone network, configure the data accounts in the phone (preferably GPRS), configure the modem scripts on the computer, and then use the computer to connect to data services (e-mail, wap, web) through the phone.
