I'm running 6.1.0207 MSN messenger but its been quite a while since I updated.
MSN is currently suggesting its a problem with MY internet connection and giving error 0x81000370
I can't get into hotmail using http://www.hotmail.com or via the accounts I have setup in outlook express. OE is giving the follow error
Unable to poll for new messages on your HTTP server. Account: 'xxxx', Server: 'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protocol: HTTPMail, Server Response: '', Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 12029, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
The only time I can remember having this much outtage was the big hotmail/msn crash of about 2 or 3 years ago but perhaps they are just doing some server work

I just re-updated to verison 6.1, used to have it but did a full wipe on my comp last month. Still gives error message, but on the msn sever status page is says "The .NET Messenger Service is temporarily experiencing difficulty. You may be unable to sign in. Please try again later." which explains why messenger won't let you sign in. Hotmail also uses the .net service, which is why that won't work either
However hotmail on MSN mobile will work.

I've still not got access to either, and the service status page still says that it is temporarily experiencing difficulty.
