welcome to Esato!
on your pc, do you have either infra red, bluetooth or a T610 compatible cable?
you will need one of those

Nope I don't have any of those things! I'm new to this as you can tell. Thank you for taking the time to reply

no prob. if its something you want to do often you can pick up IR and BT adaptors quite cheaply these days though I'd suggest IR if, as you say, you are new to this as it will present less problems for the novice

You can also always upload it to a WAP site, then download it to your phone!

unfortunately the T610 email client cannot open attachments.
there is this java application which can but I'm sure it cannot save the pics to the phone
what is it that you are downloading?

Hi again
This is what I am downloading:
Bluetooth technology is an open specification that enables short-range wireless connections among a desktop computer and notebook computers, personal digital assistants, mobile phones, camera phones, printers, digital cameras, keyboards, and even computer mice. Bluetooth 1.5 provides support for Bluetooth enabled headsets which may be used with iChat AV. In addition, the Bluetooth 1.5 update adds the ability to print to supported Bluetooth enabled printers.
Am I wasting my time???? I know more about watercress as you've probably gathered-lol
Thank you for all of your advice!

What's the point of this? You need a bluetooth dongle, not just the software. It's like having Windows XP set-up disks, but no computer. You need both software and hardware.
