The Fujitsu Siemens LOOX is NOT a phone.
Its only a pda.
You will be able later on to get a gsm/gprs module/jacket,..just as you can do with e.g. the Ipaq.

I'm actually going to get a pda,..either the Compaq Ipaq H3870 or the LOOX.
I KNOW the LOOX is more powerful, also supports bluetooth audio/headset profile,....BUT I have to admit that I'm still more into the Ipaq. Played around with the Ipaq yesterday,..and think I fell in love,..its simply beautiful, this little thing
And its actually got all I need,..and probably more, hehe.
I'm going to test the LOOX,..should be very soon (I do phone and pda tests) for a magazine.
Still more fund of the Ipaq design, gotta admit that

jan made some comments in another thread, I can't remember which...maybe you could search for ipaq or 3870 or the like and find it. He had some favourable comments on the ipaq |

I'll be getting the Ipaq myself. Like that one better.
And I can get the BT headset/audio profile installed on this, hehe
Ipaq is 206 mhz processor and sd-card slot.
But yes,..I'll write some comments, when I test the LOOX too
This does have bluetooth headset/audio profile, and also OBEX (transferring e.g. pictures, melodies to e.g. T68).
400 mhz processor,..both cf-card and sd-card slots.
LOOX will be cheaper than IPAQ H3870,..according to Fujitsu Siemens themselves.
I think it all comes down to, what You really like most,..mainly the design and the name. I ordered the Ipaq. I could choose freely,..and I like the Ipaq more.
Besides the differences mentioned above,..they are alike,..uses Pocket Pc 2002 both,..both have bluetooth, about the same size and so on.
Ipaq works great with e.g. T68m/i.
You can get quite a lot of very nice accessories for the Ipaq, both original and non-original......I dont know if this will happen with the LOOX too,..but it probably will.
Shawn > You're right,..I did write about the Ipaq in another topic too
I'll be testing another one too very soon (pocket pc 2002 machine also),..and its a very new one

How far away are the Ipaq 3970 models? That way you get the nice Ipaq quality, and the 400Mhz processor... no doubt you'll have to pay for the privilege though...

I like the P800 better. I saw one in the new Vodafone shop in Watford the other day. The very nice looking young lady let me have a play around with it.

How do you dial with that? Press in numbers on the touch-screen? I prefer P800 with the removable number-pad.
