jjust spoke to sony ericsson and they sed it will b another few weeks atleast b4 da software is available, also they sed that wasnt even confirmed so it could be more alot more, who nos????? |

That's bullshit!
I phoned  Switzerland yesterday and they told me that they will have the new software next tuesday (monday is public holiday).
Let's just hope!

I called se Thailand ago when I use to have a t68 and they told me they could upgrade it but that I would lose memory because the t68 does not have the same amount of memory as the t68i. Can anyone confirm this?

we are tuesday and SE has not changed the official date on the faq remember that it was last tuesday when they changed the date, there are lot of email answers by SE saying it will be next week,and in other post SE agents say it's here but under test till monday

NO,people are not being stupid,..they are just being told different things !
If You have followed and read earlier "statements" by SE,..You would know that the dates/weeks have been changed quite a lot.
First it was week 10,..then 16,..then 20,..and so on.
I have heard both week 21,..as stated on the SE-site,..and also heard week 24.
Week 24 could be related to something else,..mainly this :
Week 24 is actually the official week where people with T68i's can get their phones upgraded to the newest software.(also the R2B-025).
The service points obviously didnt know, that they were not allowed to give T68i owners the newest software yet. So a lot of people got it, including me.
So right now,..the people with T68i and software R2B-025, are actually illegal, hehe 
Then one could ask : why did SE then put the T68i software on the EMMA-server for download a while ago ? hmmm,..Sonyericsson will have to answer that, I guess

I should have just gotten myself a bloody T68i , instead of waiting for the damn update
But hell, not really phased by that anymore. I have my eyes on the p800 now
HELL, it doesn't even matter anymore. Even when GPRS is out in a month or two, or three. They aren't going to support MMS even, SO WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING???? WHY AM I STILL IN THIS COUNTRY???
