Official Sony Ericsson press release

Sony Ericsson today unveiled the latest addition to its portfolio of Bluetooth™ Handsfree solutions; the Akono™ Headset HBH-600. The HBH-600 retains all the key characteristics of the bestselling HBH-65 headset – it is light, stylish and ideal for active people on the go. However the HBH-600 also brings a new level of personalization to Handsfree solutions with exchangeable Style-Up™ covers that allow users to personalize their accessory to reflect their individual style. The HBH-600 will be available in Q2 2004.

Much work has gone into making the HBH-600 as practical and easy to use as possible. The ear loop is flexible enough to fit most ears and sturdy enough to hold the headset firmly in place. The user can put it on with one hand and move around freely just pressing a button on the control unit to answer or reject calls. A practical strap, included in the kit, makes sure that the headset is always at hand without being in the way.

The Akono™ Headset HBH-600 comes with two exchangeable Style-Up™ covers and colour variety can be increased with the Style-Up™ Kit ISK-600, which contains five covers in different colors and a case to protect the headset when not in use. The HBH-600 is the ideal accessory for people who lead an active life, but don’t want to compromise on style or quality. It supports all the advanced voice features of Sony Ericsson’s Bluetooth™ phones such as voice dial, voice commands for answering and rejecting calls.

Of course it's digital. All BT headsets are 110% digital.

ok. this may sound a little bit weird, but not all things wireless are digital. for example, hbh 35 and hbh 65 are the analogue version of bluetooth headsets. and so are the jabra's and nextlink's. on the other hand, hbh 200 is a digital version, thus better audio quality, so says a friend. correct me if i'm wrong.

Hi
Did anybody tried the HBH-600 with P800?
I heard that the P800 has a problematic bluetooth reception, Is it true?

After trying the Jabra BT200 in the last two days and having a bad
experience with the combination of it and the P800
I want to buy the Sony Ericsson BT headset
I'm not sure yet but the HBH-600 seems to be the one I want to buy
Did any of you had any experience with the combination HBH-600 + P800?
Will it work with the P800 without any background noises and interruptions like I had with the Jabra?

I used a Jabra BT200 with my P800 before and it had some problems with static. I recently bought a HBH-600 and I must say that it works very well with my P800. And the range is better as well. I would highly recommend it.
