Hi!

When I'm browsing wap (not over GPRS) and i get to a news, or a bigger text, or some pictures, can't i hangup the call and stay in wap?

To hangup I need to press the NO key for some seconds, and it asks if I want to disconnect, I press YES, and the software puts me in the main screen.

I'm using the R3A firmware in my t39m...

Any advice on how to hangup a wap call, without get out of the wap page you are on?

Thanks a lot!

Hi,

But I don't want to leave the site, i just want to terminate the call, staying in the site, if I press a link in the site, then it should make another wap call to continue navigating.

I could do this easily with my old Nokia 6210, even with a nokia 3330 it can be done!

Why do I have to be paying during a wap call, when the only thing I am doing is reading, all the data has been downloaded, and I want to read it disconnected.

Sorry about my english, I don't know if i'm getting you to understand what I mean...

Thank you.

arroyootje, the differences between a T68 and T39 are not as great as you might think.
I am pretty sure they would handle ending a wap sessino the same way.

As for the problem, I think what you need to do is browse via GPRS, if you can.

Aaa... I think there might be a solution to this.

If you press No and exit WAP, and hang up you should still be able to reenter the WAP services menu and select Resume. That should bring you back to the page you were watching without reconnecting.

You can also set the timeout for the connectin... either in Data comm. or WAP settings.
