Is it possible to download pictures from a WAP page in BMP?WBMP format like you can on the 3330? Does the 8310 support this? |

In this site it shows 8310 with the other new Ericsson phones in logos section. Even 8310 can't save images on wap it's listed in the wallpapers feauture supported phones category.

This is the fourth Nokia 8310 my wife uses (One was stolen, the other 2 are of poor qualities) I don't why she still likes it. May be it is cheap.
I can only custom made all the Black and white pictures and then transfer via Irda to her 8310 or download pictures thru' SMS .
8310 only accepts *.gms : *.otb : *.bmp files. These file extensions are just not common in WAP SERVER.
Wherelse our T68 accepts *.gif which is most common web file. Ain't we all lucky with the choice of T68
8310

I had an 8310 and the phone had some serious software issues. The fm radio and fast menus were about the only things that I liked.
