As far as l'm aware its similar to receiving an sms with a wap url in it that you can link to the senders site. Not had one though so don't quote me.

The simplest way to look at it is that Wap Push is like having advanced SMS. With SMS u send plain text messages but with WAP Push you can send pictures and other content material with ur message. Its also more that MMS. With Wap Push you can also send surveys, marketing offers etc. that the recipient can respond to.
U probable received a push that was sent to u via sms. |
