wonder where we have heard that before
here is a translation of the article:
After several delays and long periods of total silence Neonode finally give an answer when N1 will be released.
Earlier Neonode has only said "during 2004" when asked when N1 will be released. Now they give a different answer.
- We will release it before the summer, says Magnus Goertz, MD at Neonode. Goertz says they are currently establishing deals with retailers and can't therefore not give a more precise release date.
The specifications has change yet another time. According to Goertz the processor now is 260MHz and the memory as been increased to 32MB.

They also said a year ago that the phone will come out spring 2003. Also two years ago. I am not beleaving anything from that company untill they do actually release a phone. Besides the phone is nothing special any more. Phones like px00, SX1, and so on bets the phone.
Unless I am not misstaken (Hello masseur )
Cheers

It sure is an impressive prototype considering. I sure would like to have one. But I don't know if I would buy a phone that's been on the drawing table for 3 years.

Well, it's a good thing that stayed for 3 years on the drawing table cuz they've teaked it hard enough and it's a good product OR a bad thing cuz they incapable of doing smtng good and finish a damn project.

Don't you need a headset in order to talk on it? Looks ugly as Satan anyway.

I would rather have an N1 with less bugs even if it takes time. Will be the best ever...

This is old even it appears on the market tomorrow. They've lost all the credibility. It's natural to have a month of delay but 3 years?!!! Come on! And then , like some1 said last year, if it breaks down what do i do? Do i send it from Puerto Rico to Finland or whatever to be repaired? And so on...it stands no chance if u ask me.

Agreed. They need global service infrastructure, not just Sweden, and that's gonna take years to happen
