I've got one of these doobries and it only plays if you twist it so it's at a slight angle to the phone and not clicked into place... I see a few people have had similar problems.

What I want to know before I send it back is, has anybody got this thing working satisfactorily? Without disconnecting itself every time you breath?

Let me know - if it's just a case of some units being faulty, I'm gonna demand a new one.

Mine's fine. I walk to work most mornings with it stuffed in my pocket and it very rarely disconnects.

I do'nt think it's problem with your player, I think it's problem with the contacts at the bottom of your phone. I've experienced the same thing with my player. Sometimes I have to clean the contacts otherwise it disconnect every time I breath. Before I clean the contacts I turn the phone of and remove the battery. When I clean it I use ear-tops and isopropyl alcohol (that kind of alcohol you use when cleaning audio/video-heads) You have to clean the contacts rely well,(approx 10 min) then it will work fine

I used to have the same problem with the battery on my 7110 but this is a brand new phone and MP3 player! So I don't reckon it's a case of dirty contacts.

I spoke to Time2Talk (where I got the whole bundle for £109 on Orange) and they said that if I send it back recorded, they'll despatch a replacement in 24 hours. Nice!

Ok yes it does work but the connection to the phone is dodgy like mentioned previously. Going to take it back tomorrow and get it sorted.

Have a good weekend.
